I got my first Doberman when I was just a teenager. My parents had always had German Shepherds, so I was familiar with the breed. But there was something about the Doberman that just called to me. They are such beautiful animals, and I knew I wanted one of my own.

So, with my parent’s permission, I set out to find the perfect Doberman for our family. It took some time, but eventually, I found him. His name was Tyson and he was everything I could have ever wanted in a dog.

I’ll never forget the day we brought him home. He was so excited to be there, and he quickly made himself at home. It was clear from the start that he was going to be a special part of our family.

Over the years, Tyson has been by my side through everything. He’s been my best friend and my loyal companion. I can’t imagine my life without him. Not only is he a great dog, but he’s also part of the family. At first, my mom was hesitant about getting a Doberman, especially since they can be such powerful animals. Add the preconceived notions about the breed, and she was really worried. But once she met Tyson, all of her fears melted away. She fell in love with him just as much as I did.

One time, when my father & I were on a trip, my mother was at home with Tyson. There was a severe storm that rolled in & the power went out. My mom was really scared, but Tyson stayed by her side the whole time & made her feel safe. That’s just the kind of dog he is. He didn’t move from her side until the power came back on.

My dad, who is usually pretty stoic, has also grown to love Tyson. He’s always been a big dog person, but he’s never had a dog that he’s bonded with like this before. I think it’s because Tyson is just so special. Ever since then, my parents have been huge advocates for the breed.

My family has always been supportive of my passion for Dobermans. They understand how much I love these dogs and they know how much joy Tyson has brought into our life. I’m so grateful to have them in my life.
